Game-changer: New EV Battery Completes Full Charging in Just Six Minutes

One of the things that electric cars are most criticized for is the charging process.

According to Telegrafi, even the most sophisticated electric vehicles are unable to match the quick charging speed of gasoline-powered vehicles.

However, a UK-based company called Nyobolt says it has a revolutionary technology that would enable quick battery refilling. A prototype electric sports vehicle with a battery pack that can be recharged in less than six minutes has been presented by the business. When fitted in sports vehicles, the 35 kWh pack is expected to provide a 250 km range on a single charge.

Despite his refusal to disclose the car's weight, Nyobolt states that it is "closer to a tonne or two," implying that it weighs less than 1,500 kilos. Nyobolt says that its battery can be recharged at a rate that is more than twice as fast as even the fastest charging automobiles on the market; however, it does not provide precise figures.

Julian Thomson, who developed the first Lotus Elise, created an electric sports vehicle idea that incorporates Nyobolt's revolutionary battery technology.

According to Sai Shivareddy, CEO of Nyobolt, users had to rely on costly and sizable in-car battery packs since it was previously impossible to enable quick charging in a small vehicle without sacrificing its lifespan. They have created smaller battery packs that can supply more power and charge in less time, and they have invented a six-minute auto charger thanks to their innovative technology.
