Together with the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard, the grant was announced by the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister in Charge of Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED). Eight organizations—Chalets Nautika Gaspé, Panora Loges Fluviales, Musique du Bout du Monde, Les chalets Valmont, Village en chanson de Petite-Vallée, Les Aventures Gaspésiennes Inc., and Choc Événements—that are vital to the local economy will benefit from the financial contributions.
By highlighting the significance of community-driven organizations in creating a resilient and inclusive economy, this strategic investment demonstrates the government's commitment to supporting sustainable economic development in Quebec.
