Soda, a startup providing AI-enabled data quality, announced a $14 million funding round led by strategic partners and current investors to support the business's ongoing expansion across North America.
With the new capital, Soda can also hire more people worldwide and continue to establish a sustainable business plan that supports both company and market expansion. By bringing in seasoned go-to-market personnel to its New York City headquarters, Soda will be able to expand its operations in North America in a sustainable manner.
With technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) predicted to boost the world economy by up to $15.7 trillion by 2030, there is a greater demand than ever for solutions that can provide reliable data. According to the company, Soda is meeting this desire with a low-complication, pragmatic approach that enables all employees within a corporation to work with dependable, high-quality data.
With the launch of SodaGPT in 2023, the firm will have already invested in establishing a GenAI-first platform. Additionally, it will continue to roll out additional AI capabilities under the recently unveiled Soda AI banner.
Anomaly Detection, OpenAI Assistants, and SodaGPT are among the expanding set of productivity-boosting data quality technologies known as Soda AI.
The company's OSS solution, Soda Core, which helps thousands of data teams evaluate data and prevent data errors, was released in 2020 and has since generated substantial global community support.
