Following its expansion in 2020, the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) will officially launch this week on May 15 in multiple regions.
It will run until June 16. The PUBG Mobile Super League—Southeast Asia Spring 2024 started in February after the qualifiers ended last month. Boom Esports emerged victorious in the competition, with Alter Ego Ares placing second.
The league will now start on May 15 and run through June 9 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The league will take place throughout Central and South Asia (CSA) from May 22 to June 16.
In February 2023, the PUBG Mobile Super League was revealed to replace the PMPL SEA Championship in Southeast Asia. 15 teams from the SEA region participated in two seasons of the tournament's first edition, with a total prize pool of $250,000 available in each season. The PMSL was going to extend to more regions, as announced during the 2023 PMGC Grand Finals.
The following regions are now competing in the PMSL, which is completely replacing the PUBG Mobile Pro League this year:
In addition, PMSL will now operate for three seasons overall, rather than just two in Southeast Asia. This year, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will be the official gaming phone of the PMSL. The phone is being promoted as the first gaming phone that can achieve PUBG's native frame rate of 120 Hz after a recent update in May. This year, phones will be used in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings competitions.
Southeast Asia Summer 2024 is the next PMSL competition to be on the lookout for; it takes place from May 8 to June 2.
