Q. What is SecureStream Pay Solutions’ story? Why did you decide to start a company in the payments processing sector?
The original founder established a regional processing company and proved, throughout the years of servicing numerous accounts that they could provide not only the most cost-effective processing solutions but also a high level of service that large and growing businesses desperately needed.
As a client of the founder, we had a front-row seat to the outstanding deliverables, allowing us to make comparisons with others in my industry who were not using their services. It was with this valuable insight that we decided to acquire their book of business and take a more aggressive approach to serving both the hospitality and convenience markets nationwide. In addition to incorporating their service and sales teams, I, an industry veteran, was brought on board to lead the organization and merge the two processors into one entity known as Secure Stream Pay Solutions. With thousands of merchant connections, we have a bright future ahead of us.
Q. How has SecureStream Pay Solutions grown since its founding?
Secure Stream has dedicated the first half of this year to ensuring that our services, execution, accounting, and infrastructure are all in place for growth. We have already reached out to leaders representing over 2,000 merchant locations, and many test sites are set to come online in the latter half of 2024.

Angela Cherry, President of SecureStream Pay Solutions, has a strong background in the credit card processing industry. She started as a Business Development Manager in 2013, delivering outstanding results and moving on to become the Director of Marketing & Business Development. Angela excelled in implementation, training, and client support.
Angela had a successful career in commercial furniture, becoming a top producer and winning awards such as Rookie of the Year and Project of the Year. She is also involved in her community, having held positions on three local Boards of Directors, including Commercial Real Estate Women’s Association, International Facilities Manager Association, and CRE615 Commercial Real Estate Networking.
Angela, from Nashville, is a proud mother of three daughters – Brittney, Lauren, and Savannah – and a loving grandmother to her grandson, Michael. She loves to travel, try new food, go hiking to find waterfalls, and help others.
