TAM Europe Introductions Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses in Slovenia, Growing Clean-Energy Transportation to International Markets

TAM Europe marked an achievement in the Maribor, Slovenia's second largest city, with the introduction of their new hydrogen fuel cell buses, signaling the beginning of a new phase of development in clean energy transportation in the country. The first set of commercial hydrogen-powered vehicles from the Slovenian manufacturer was sent to Vienna, Austria, and Seoul, South Korea.

TAM Europe can produce 500 electric commercial vehicles every year. They provided 24 electric buses to Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris during the Olympic Games. For the next three years, the company aims to produce about 100 hydrogen-fueled vehicles per year. The company's latest creation is 70 MPa hydrogen fuel low-entry city buses, which is an additional progress in the growth of clean energy.

Ma Fuxiong, CEO of TAM Europe, stated their progress in technology and ecologically friendly innovations has been important to their breakthrough into the premium European market. Vice President for Technology and Manufacturing at TAM, Li Minghai, stated that in the heart of Europe, this project has gained major momentum by combining resources and investment strategy. From technological alignment to production deployment, it ensures productivity.

TAM's hydrogen rollout is an important achievement that both shows the deep synergy between Chinese capital and European industry in growing green technologies and strengthens Slovenia's position as a European hub for specialty vehicle and clean energy manufacturing. Vienna and Seoul have already started using some of TAM's hydrogen buses. The company's customer is now spread across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, while awareness of the brand is progressively growing. Currently, TAM Europe employs about 200 local employees who frequently get technical training in China, while Chinese specialists come to Slovenia to work jointly onsite.
