In an investment round headed by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal's 3STATE Ventures, the AI firm ShopOS has raised $20 million. The business, which is located in Bengaluru, intends to utilize the money to develop its platform further, enlarge its technical and product teams, and find new brand partners abroad.
"ShopOS is an e-commerce operating system that is AI-native”. ShopOS co-founder Ajay P. V. told YourStory, "It's an agent-driven stack that lets brands create, market, and manage their stores. In order to improve customer experiences and make operations quicker, smarter, and more efficient, we want to make our operating system available to all brands so they may customize it to fit their product lines. Hundreds of humans are presently employed by brands to perform monotonous jobs that AI can complete quickly. For brands, the efficiency improvements are instantaneous, and they swiftly convert into value for consumers," he continued.
Sai Krishna V K and Ajay P V created the company, which is developing an AI-native operating system for e-commerce firms. They were also co-founders of Scapic, an AI and augmented reality platform. Flipkart purchased Scapic in 2020 in order to improve its shopping experience.
Both founders oversaw Flipkart Labs after the purchase, concentrating on developing deeptech solutions. Previously employed at Flipkart, where he developed AI-based user experiences for the e-commerce platform's clientele, Karan Sonawala is now a member of the founding team.
