Business Fortune-Salesforce Empowers Indian Manufacturing with AI Solutions

Salesforce CEO Arundhati Bhattacharya sees rising demand in Indian manufacturing as the company partners with Jaquar Group for AI-led transformation.

Salesforce's CEO and president for South Asia, Arundhati Bhattacharya, stated that the company's manufacturing sector is one of its expanding customer segments in India. Although industries like banking and financial services have historically embraced digital platforms more quickly than manufacturing, she said there is a chance to provide this industry with additional data and insights.

According to Bhattacharya, users can increase the agility of their behavior and reaction if they can digitally alter their supply chains, sales, and distribution. According to her, the organization takes an industry-wise strategy for communicating with and providing solutions to clients because the difficulties vary across sectors, including automotive, solar, and ceramics.

On Tuesday, the global SaaS Company announced digital transformation collaboration with Jaquar Group, a manufacturer of lighting and bathroom products based in Haryana. The partnership will create a mobile-first platform driven by AI to increase revenue growth, productivity, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.

Salesforce's clientele also includes Godrej, a manufacturer of consumer goods and appliances. The goal is to future-proof the company by integrating intelligence into each consumer and operational touchpoint, according to Rajesh Mehra, promoter and director of the Jaquar Group, who stated that they think data agility, mobile responsiveness, and real-time decision-making are key components of the manufacturing and retail industries' future.

According to Ninad Raje, CIO at Jaquar Group, the ultimate objective is to implement agentic AI. AI systems that are capable of performing tasks on their own are referred to as agentic AI. Salesforce introduced Agentforce, an agentic AI platform, last year.
