New features are released by Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Frame.io to help video professionals save time and simplify post-production.
Adobe revealed some new manual as well as AI advancements aimed at empowering filmmakers at all levels, whether they are ambitious students, independent filmmakers, documentarians, or seasoned professionals, ahead of the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where approximately 85% of all films used Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Additionally, Adobe announced a $5 million contribution to the Adobe Film & TV Fund to help minority filmmakers and innovators pursue careers behind and on screen.
By enabling video editors to swiftly find the ideal film clip from enormous file libraries, Adobe Premiere Pro's new media intelligence and search panel solves a major problem for them. Previously, this meant searching through gigabytes of files to find a particular clip.
In addition to research and product, Adobe and the Adobe Foundation announced that the Adobe Film & TV Fund would be expanded by an additional $5 million in 2025 to support new career progression possibilities through financing, fellowships, and in-kind gifts.
Group Effort Initiative (GEI), which provides professional programs, training, and mentorship to the upcoming generation of editors, marketers, and creatives, is also joining the Adobe Film & TV Fund.
