According to a report, Yellowstone's fifth and final season will debut its last six episodes in November.
The second half of the final season will premiere on Sunday, November 10, as announced by Paramount in a press statement on Thursday. The first episode of Yellowstone aired exactly six years ago, when the announcement was made.
Paramount unveiled a small teaser trailer along with the release date.
In Montana, work on the remaining few episodes of Yellowstone commenced last month. The show centers on the Dutton family, who own the biggest cattle ranch in the country. The book also talks about the political conflicts and drama that the ranch experiences when dealing with nearby places, such as America's initial national park and its fast-developing town.
Because of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, Paramount rescheduled the release of the last episode of Yellowstone to November 2024. After its 2018 premiere, Yellowstone became a breakthrough success for Paramount. The first part of the last season aired in 2022 and broke all previous ratings records with 12.1 million viewers, according to Variety.
Because the Yellowstone series is very popular, Paramount is creating spin-off shows about the Dutton family through different generations. Thus far, two prequel series have debuted in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and are titled 1883 and 1923. Several offshoot series have also been approved, including 1944, a prequel series, 6666 Ranch, and a sequel series starring Matthew McConaughey, according to reports.
