LinkedIn goes down, following Super Tuesday's Facebook outage

LinkedIn experienced a brief outage affecting users for an hour, but services resumed around 5:00 p.m. ET. The company said that they will continue investigating the issue.

On Wednesday, a brief outage prevented several users from accessing LinkedIn via their mobile app or website. Users could not access the site for approximately an hour due to a large outage, which the service provider verified. As per the corporation, the services resumed at roughly 5:00 p.m. ET. According to LinkedIn's status page, the business will keep looking into the matter.

Per the outage platform DownDetector, reports of an error began just before 4:00 p.m. ET. LinkedIn advised users to check their Status page for updates on the technical problem before the outage ended. A message on X, formerly Twitter, stated, "It's not you, it's us."

"An error has occurred" was the notice users saw when they opened the platform. According to the notification, they appear to have experienced an issue. They asked users to try returning to the previous page or visiting the Help Center for further information. A day earlier, on the morning of Super Tuesday, hundreds of thousands of Facebook users could not access the network due to a mistake on LinkedIn. Facebook's parent company, Meta, attributed its inoperable social networking platform to a "technical issue". Numerous users complained that they could not connect to their Facebook accounts after the platform logged them out.
