Husch Blackwell is implementing Legora’s AI platform, giving lawyers advanced tools to enhance workflows and client portal experiences.
Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, announces that Legora, a collaborative AI platform for legal professionals, will be implemented throughout the whole firm. The launch gives the firm's more than 1,000 lawyers greater access to AI-enabled products.
As a part of this initiative Husch Blackwell will implement Legora's Workflows, AI-powered tools that assist legal teams in automating multi-step procedures, such as document review and regulatory research, and refining those procedures over time. Additionally, the company will use Legora to increase the capabilities of its customer site. With an advanced, AI-powered client experience, Legora's platform will enhance the more than 2,000 client portals that Husch Blackwell now runs.
According to Jamie Lawless, Chief Executive of Husch Blackwell, technology plays an essential role in how they deliver legal services, particularly in a firm with attorneys across the nation. Additionally, Legora aligns with their focus on supporting collaboration, efficiency, and consistency across the firm.
Legora has an AI-powered spreadsheet that can simultaneously extract particular data points from thousands of documents. The platform simplifies research in a single workspace by integrating with current legal databases and Document Management Systems (DMS) like iManage and SharePoint.
Max Junestrand, CEO & Co-Founder of Legora stated that the firm’s decision to roll out Legora firmwide reflects their clear goal to deliver consistently excellent legal work across a distributed network which is backed by best-in-class support that scales not only across physical offices, but through The Link virtual model as well. He said “Husch Blackwell has built an operating model designed for how legal work happens today.”
In short, the goal of this collaboration is to improve workflow automation, document drafting, and legal research in both the firm's physical and virtual offices. With the software's Microsoft Word Add-In, attorneys can use precedent-based language to write and edit documents while still having personal control over final approvals.
