The company's hybrid model combines digital resources with live small-group sessions, and it collaborates with top local coding experts to provide practical, efficient courses.
With the closing of an €8.5 million ($9.1 million) financing round, Polish edtech Coding Giants, which teaches kids and teenagers how to code, now has over €12 million ($12.7 million) in cash.
Students ages 6 to 19 can enroll in live and online classes at Coding Giants, a hybrid-model coding school. Since its founding, the Polish firm, which now operates in 12 countries, has expanded quickly to become a pioneer in digital education, reaching over 15,000 active students and teaching classes to about 200,000 participants.
According to Radosław Kulesza, co-founder and CEO of Coding Giants, students need to have a thorough understanding of their digital world, just as they do of their physical environment in science classes.
To provide efficient, practical lessons, the organization uses a hybrid strategy that blends live, small-group sessions with digital resources and collaborates with top local coding experts.
Following its dominance in the Polish market, Coding Giants went global, growing more than four times annually in Spain and Italy, two of its main markets.
The lead investor in the round was True Global Ventures (TGV), with additional investors joining in.
Konrad Wawruch, a founding partner at TGV who is currently joining the Supervisory Board of Coding Giants, stated that Coding Giants is a unique player in the digital education space because of their strong market position and unique approach to enhancing human-to-human interactions with top-notch technology, including AI. PortfoLion Capital Partners also took part in this round because of Coding Giants' exceptional performance since their prior fundraising round.
According to PortfoLion Principal Zsolt Mihály, Coding Giants has shown remarkable expansion and scalability. Their performance in Italy, Spain, and Poland confirms the possibility of global success.
The funds will help Coding Giants advance its AI-driven educational solutions and expand into new markets in the coming years, including the German and Spanish-speaking communities in the US.
