Canva unveiled a new enterprise version on Thursday, one that is genuinely tailored to the requirements of larger companies.

The solution has key features like single sign-on, better security measures, and effective IT tools for managing large user groups. Dedicated support and centralized brand management are also provided.

In 2019, the company's co-founder and CPO, Cam Adams, mentioned that they were thinking about changing their focus. Instead of mainly serving individual consumers, they were considering targeting small teams consisting of five to one hundred users. With time, as more and larger companies started using Canva, its creators realized the necessity of developing a product specifically designed to meet the needs of these companies.

With its expansion into larger organizations, Canva noticed three distinct issues that this version aims to solve.

To begin with, design is no longer exclusive to a single group. It spans across multiple departments and sectors. Adams noticed that CIOs are getting more careful about the increasing number of AI tools. Lastly, a workflow component is present. As departments get more involved in design and AI becomes more important, there is a need for a platform that can manage user access and the transfer of work among different stakeholders.

The previous product is now being transformed into a team offering for at least three users, at a cost of $100 per seat per year. Enterprise pricing is offered with negotiated volume-based reductions starting at $300 per seat per year.
