STT Logistics Group was founded on September 5, 2015, by Andre Corbert and his business partner, with the specific objective of improving an industry that was notorious for its lack of transparency and impersonal service. Starting in vehicle transportation, they quickly saw a gap for a boutique logistics model capable of handling complex, oversized shipments with precision, clear communication, and total reliability. What started as an ambitious brokerage soon became a mission-based company and a global leader in specialized heavy hauling.

Today, STT operates as a true one-stop shop for complex logistics. Its services include heavy hauling, machinery transport, equipment dismantling, route engineering, and international freight. The company specializes in over-dimensional cargo and high-security assets, including Department of Defense tanks and containers. Guided by its mantra, “You Call, We Haul. That’s All!”, STT manages everything from permits to customs, delivering seamless, stress-free execution.

Business Fortune spoke exclusively with Andre Corbert, CEO and Co-Founder of STT Logistics Group, about how the company is raising the bar in complex freight and marine logistics. From oversized industrial cargo to mission-critical shipments, STT combines proprietary technology with its Boutique Accountability Model to deliver precision and transparency. With bold plans for AI integration and international expansion, STT is building a technology-driven future for global heavy hauling.

Interview Hightlights

How does STT ensure that every shipment, whether small or oversized, meets the same high standard?

Quality control at STT is built into our organizational DNA through a structure we call the "Boutique Accountability Model." Unlike giant logistics firms where a client is just a number in a database, every shipment at STT regardless of its scale—is assigned a Dedicated Account Agent. This agent serves as the single point of contact and is personally responsible for the load's success. This agent is supported by a multi-layered team consisting of expert dispatchers, compliance officers, and 24/7 customer service representatives. We use a standardized "Check-and-Balance" process for every load, which includes rigorous carrier vetting and real-time milestone updates. By combining this high-level personal accountability with our proprietary tracking tools, we ensure that a small crate receives the same "white-glove" attention as a multi-million dollar turbine.

Marine freight services can be complex and require precise coordination. What challenges your team faces in this area, and how you ensure shipments arrive safely and on time?

At STT Logistics Group, the primary challenges in marine freight include the complex coordination between multiple stakeholders, such as ground transporters, ports, shipping lines, and international agents, as well as meticulous document management, compliance with diverse customs regulations, and the prevention of operational delays at the port.

To ensure every shipment arrives safely and on time, we operate under a comprehensive framework that includes:

  • Advance Planning & Technical Validation: We meticulously verify dimensions, weight, cargo type, and transport methods for every operation.

  • Constant Communication & Traceability: We maintain real-time tracking throughout the entire process, keeping the client informed at every stage.

  • Strategic Provider Selection: We partner exclusively with reliable shipping lines and vendors experienced in Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off), heavy machinery, and special projects.

  • Rigorous Supervision: We oversee the loading, lashing, and stowage processes to ensure full compliance with international safety standards.

  • Proactive Risk Management: This includes offering optional insurance and developing robust contingency plans for unforeseen events. This integrated approach allows us to execute shipments with surgical precision, minimize risks, and build long-term relationships based on trust and results.

What internal systems, tools, or processes have you developed to ensure seamless execution of even the most challenging shipments?

To manage the high stakes of oversized hauling, STT has moved away from generic third-party software to develop its own proprietary technology ecosystem. Central to this is the STT Driver App, a custom-built tool that streamlines the interaction between the brokerage and the carrier. This app provides real-time tracking, digital document management (reducing paperwork friction), and direct communication channels.

Furthermore, the company has implemented the PPF (Professional, Personal, and Financial) System. This is an internal process designed to align the team’s personal growth with operational excellence. By ensuring that every team member is mentored and focused on high performance, the company creates a culture of extreme accountability. This combination of "High Tech" (proprietary software) and "High Touch" (internal mentoring processes) allows them to execute complex shipments—like moving DOD assets or massive industrial boilers—with surgical precision.

Looking ahead to the next five years, what are the biggest opportunities you see for your company, whether in new markets, services, technology, talent, or partnerships?

The vision for the next five years is to transform STT Logistics Group into a billion-dollar technology-driven powerhouse. By 2030, the company aims to serve 25,000 clients annually. A major opportunity lies in the expansion into Latin American markets, where complex logistics expertise is in high demand.

In terms of technology, the company is investing in AI-based platforms to provide a "Masterclass" in logistics transparency, moving beyond simple tracking to predictive analytics for heavy hauling. Regarding talent and business structure, STT is scaling through a franchise model. This allows experienced brokers to build their own teams using STT’s proven technology and brand power, creating a decentralized but highly standardized network of experts. This growth is supported by their commitment to education, such as their new webinar series and "Freight Broker Success" platform, which positions the company as a thought leader and a primary source of industry knowledge globally.

Would you like us to highlight something important happening in your company that we may have missed asking about?

One of our most significant recent initiatives is our aggressive commitment to industry education and thought leadership. We recognized that much of the logistics world operates in a "black box" of gatekept information, so we launched a comprehensive series of educational webinars and the Freight Broker Success platform. Our goal is to create a "Curated Wikipedia for Logistics"—a high-quality, accessible resource that simplifies the complex laws, permit requirements, and safety standards of the industry for everyone involved. We are not just moving freight; we are building an educational legacy that empowers carriers, clients, and future brokers to operate with more knowledge and less risk. This philanthropic approach to sharing our "secret sauce" is what truly sets us apart as visionaries in the 2026 landscape.
