Business Fortune

You may board a plane and travel to a whole new culture in a couple of hours, all thanks to the aviation sector. This explains why there was likely a spike in doorstep delivery during the pandemic. With just a few clicks on a Tuesday, your shopping cravings could be quickly sated by Thursday, or possibly even earlier. And what it does for you, it does for companies all around the world that require supplies and parts.
Every continent is connected by aviation in terms of people, cultures, and businesses. It fosters economic expansion, eases global trade, and advances tourism. There are nearly 1,300 airlines operating 31,717 aircraft at 3,759 airports; thus, the aviation industry's effect is difficult to overestimate.
Powerful and accounting for $3.5 trillion of global GDP, aviation is predicted to grow to $775 billion by 2021. Over 65 million people work there. There are individuals directing the show in addition to pilots, stewards, luggage handlers, control tower engineers, technicians, and all those who design and build the planes. Airports, freight and cargo firms, airlines, and other organizations are managed by aviation managers.
With 13,500 aircraft, the US Air Force is the biggest in the world. In addition to defending our airspace from enemy foreigners, the Air Force has introduced numerous cutting-edge aviation and communications technologies. Additionally, Air Force aircraft carry supplies and equipment to American bases situated in strategic locations across the globe. The Air Force provides training and experience to a large number of our commercial airline pilots.
All of this indicates that the aviation sector requires a large number of supplies and a supply worker. Hammond Aviation Pilot Supplies can help with that. The leading Canadian supplier of innumerable items to pilots, pilot shops, and flight schools is Hammond Aviation Ltd.
Introducing Hammond Aviation
Early in the 1990s, Hammond Aviation Limited, through its parent business Hammond Fuels, started providing a few local flying schools with the materials they need for their pupils. In a very short period of time, the Hammond brand started to expand and became known for quality and dependability in the flight training supply sector. The petroleum company's main office was outgrowing its limited area as a result of the company's continuing growth. After deciding to establish Hammond Aviation, the company moved from St. Mary's, Ontario, to become a national supplier in 1995.
Before a new facility could be constructed at the Region of Waterloo International Airport, Hammond Aviation swiftly outgrew that location and relocated to a larger warehouse in Breslau, Ontario. After it was finished, Hammond Aviation relocated to a new location at the airport's top FBO, Flite Line Services.
With daily flights to and from US and Canadian sites, the airport has now expanded to become an international one. Additionally, Hammond Aviation has expanded to become Canada's biggest wholesale provider. With its new facility, Hammond Aviation offers the largest range of equipment from top manufacturers in the industry.
Today
Hammond Aviation is still run by the Hammond family. The store is situated in Hangar 33 (Flite Line Services—Shell), together with the warehouse. Under the Flite Line brand, the company established a maintenance organization that was licensed by Transport Canada in 2011. 2018 saw the addition of Avionics installations and maintenance, in addition to the Garmin name. Hammond Aviation has maintained hundreds of aircraft over the years, including warbirds, turboprops, turbojets, and single engine pistons.
In addition to the Garmin portables, they also provide full installation and maintenance for the Garmin Certified range, as well as over-the-counter Garmin equipment for homebuilt aircraft. There are several aircraft available for use by Hammond Aviation, along with an internal demonstrator.
By continuing to sponsor the Waterloo Warbirds, Hammond Aviation also upholds its Canadian aviation legacy. The T-33 Mako Shark and Canada's lone flying vampire both have the Hammond Aviation emblem displayed on their sides. Also, Hammond Aviation owns a Cessna 172 for business use. Please let the company know if you would want them to attend an event!
